The Nvidia RTX 4060 and 4060 Ti are both excellent cards for budget 4K gaming, but what about the power requirements along with your other components?

How Many Watts for Nvidia RTX 4060?

  • The RTX 4060 8GB version at its peak consumes around ~120 Watts. That’s why your power supply needs to have a minimum of 240 Watts, which is more than double the peak.

How Many Watts for Nvidia 4060 Ti?

  • The RTX 4060 16GB Ti at its peak consumes around ~160 Watts. That’s why your power supply needs to have a minimum of 320 Watts, which is more than double the peak.

Why is the power supply requirement double the peak of the card?

Because every graphics card has an average and a peak power consumption part. While most will stay in the lower, idle part for the majority of their life, you want your power supply to be able to handle any peaks that happen during heavy gaming, even if just for a single second.

Plus, your power supply is responsible for every component in your PC. The better your build, the higher your wattage should be.

  • For the CPU, disks and any extra fans, you should account for at least extra 200 watts, and that’s without overclocking.

So if you combine the 240 Watts for the regular 4060 with the rest of the components, we get a number close to 500W. For the 4060 Ti version, you’re looking at ~550W. This is the minimum!

Is 500W Enough for RTX 4060 & 4060 Ti?

You could get away with a high quality 500W supply for the 4060, but definitely not with the Ti version. 

It’s not recommended, but if you have no other option to upgrade then you could run some not power-hungry video applications. 

Is 600W Enough for RTX 4060 & 4060 Ti?

Yes, 600W would be enough and it also matches with Nvidia’s official recommendation. Any “Gold” rated PSU will do the job.

However, we seriously recommend to look at something slightly higher.

Which PSU To Buy?

The best power supply is the Corsair RMX 650W+. It’s gold rated, gives you the most bang for the buck and is fully modular. Literally the best on the market. 

Corsair offers higher wattage options of the same PSU, so if you want to be even more future proof and have the budget (they’re all around $100), perhaps invest in something like the 850W.

Does Nvidia RTX 4060 & Ti Support 4K?

Both cards will struggle with 4K at highest settings, but turned down to medium, you can expect somewhat playable frames (30-40 if lucky). In modern shooters, this will be higher, but for visually advanced games like Cyberpunk or Red Dead, you won’t be happy.

Can the RTX 4060 & 4060 Ti Run Games at 1440p at 144Hz?

Absolutely!

They are excellent at 1080p and also deliver great performance for 1440p gaming at 60fps and even higher.

Both cards can easily maintain 60fps in more complex games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins’ Creed, GTA 5 etc. 

How Many Monitors Can Nvidia RTX 4060 & 4060 Ti Support?

Both cards can support up to 4 monitors.

There is 1 x HDMI 2.1 port and 3 x DisplayPort 1.4a ports. However, make sure to check your card specifically before buying, as some companies might have 2 x HDMI and 2 x DisplayPort rather.

The maximum resolution it can display is 7680×4320. For single monitor gaming purpose, these 2 cards will be fine, but for double or even triple 4K or 1440p intensive gaming, they’re not going to be able to run anything.

Does Nvidia RTX 4060 Support DLSS3?

Yes, both RTX 4060 and 4060 Ti support DLSS3, with more and more games and applications being added to the list. 

It’s (sometimes) really hard to detect any graphical differences in most games, so you’ve got no reason to not use the DLSS3 and sometimes even double your frames per second.

What even is DLSS3? 

  • Lower resolution images upscaled to higher resolution (ie. Full HD to 4K)
  • Inserting fake frames between existing frames (this can sometimes double your fps)
  • Reduces latency of all these calculations (if you insert fake frames, your total fps isn’t actually realistic in terms of lag input).

DLSS3 is only reserved for 4000 series cards, whereas 30 and 20 line get DLSS2.

Do Laptops Run Better When Plugged In?

Yes, because your laptop’s priority is to ensure that the battery lasts as long as it can, without wasting more power than what is currently needed.

You may have noticed that as soon as you plug your charger into the laptop, the screen gets brighter, and whatver application you are running just works smoother.

Why?

Every computer/laptop has a lot of components that work together to ensure everything works well. All of these are powered by the main power supply found in every computer. Because laptops are portable, your power supply is optimized to not waste more than what is needed.

For example, if you are playing a video game or watching a movie, your graphics card will work harder, which in return drains the battery quicker because the power supply has to provide a lot more power. As soon as you stop playing that game and go to something more simple, like reading emails, your laptop’s graphics card doesn’t have to work as hard.

Basically, the more intense work you do on your laptop, the better it is for you to have the laptop plugged in. It will provide all of your components (processor, graphics card, RAM etc.) more power and ensure you get the maximum performance out of them.

This is especially true for video games. If your laptop can last 10 hours for simple web browsing and movies, it will probably top out after an hour or two of heavy gaming. Most games will probably even lag and stutter a bit, as your laptop is reducing how much power can be allocated to the components.

You can set your preference in the Control Panel for what you prefer; performance mode which “unlocks” how much your components work, or optimization mode that willl not quickly drain your battery. It’s impossible to have both.

Can You Run a Laptop Without The Battery?

Absolutely! A lot of older laptops still have removable batteries, and if you rarely use the laptop outside or without access to power, you can safely remove the battery and run it normal while plugged to the wall.

As a matter of fact, it’s probably even the best thing to do if your laptop is more like a stationary computer 90% of the time. If you want to maximize the life of your battery, it’s good to never let it go to 0% or 100%, but rather start charging a bit above 0% (as well as not letting it go to 100%).

Unless you are really worried about the performance, or know you will buy another laptop in 3-4 years, then constantly making sure your laptop never touches 0 or 100% is not worth it. Sure, you will greatly extend the performance of your battery as years go on, but for many people this is just not worth the hassle.

Always make sure that your laptop’s charger is the appropriate one for your model. We wrote a guide on how to tell what charger you can use for your laptop.

Do Laptop Screens Dim Over Time?

Unless it’s due to power savings or another mode you are not aware of, your laptop screen does not dim over time. Even after years and years of usage, you have nothing to worry about.

The only reason why laptops sometimes dim on their own is to last longer, especially if you’re not running one plugged in. It is always recommended to set you monitor brightness the match the overall brightness of the environment you are in.

Do Laptop Screens Burn-In?

No, the large majority of laptops have LCD monitors, and these do not have any burn-in. You don’t have to worry about changing your background or constantly dimming the display, as you will never cause any burn-in.

However, LCD monitors can sometimes have what’s called Image Retention, which looks similar to burn-in, but isn’t actually burned in and goes away quickly. You might sometimes see it when going from a bright image to a dark background, but once again this doesn not affect the performance of the display and is only temporary.

Unless your brand new laptop came with burn-in already (super rare), you have nothing to worry about. This problem only exists for CRT and OLED displays.

Is It Okay To Charge Your Laptop Overnight?

While you won’t cause any damage to your laptop, doing this for an extended time is not recommended.

The reason for this is that every laptop battery has a a certain number of charging cycles it can do super efficiently from 0% to 100%.

Let’s say that number is 100. You can charge your laptop from 0 to 100% around 500 times before your battery will not be as good as it used to be, simply because you’ve reached that point. Now, it’s not like after this your laptop will suddenly stop working or that you need to count how long until you reach that point. However, your battery will last a little bit less and less (you may have a phone that after 2-3 years just doesn’t last as long, and seems to go from ~15% to 0% in a few minutes).

It’s recommended to start charging your laptop a bit before it reaches 0% (recommended range is between 10 to 30%) and to not fully charge it to 100%, but rather 70-90%.

Do you need to constantly worry about this?

No, but if nothing is stopping you and you are not in a hurry, plus you know you will use this laptop for many years, then it’s recommended to try and do this whenever you can. You are only extending the life of your battery in a good way.

On top of that, make sure to fully charge and discharge your battery at least once a month. This calibration is healthy for the battery and for your laptop to

To sum up, try to reduce the amount of times your laptop goes to 0% or 100%. Once or twice a month, do a full charge (100%) and then use it until it gets to 0%, to properly calibrate it. That’s it!

Try to avoid keeping your laptop plugged in for months straight, as that can result in a fire, or heavy damage to your laptop/battery.

Competing directly with Nvidia’s 3070, let’s see how it performs in terms of power usage.

How Many Watts for AMD 6700 XT?

The AMD 6700 XT at its peak consumes around ~230 Watts. This means you need at least 470W to run it, so your total power supply should be at least 650W.

Why 650W+?

First of all, your power supply has to have enough watts to power all of your components, not just the GPU. That includes the CPU, disks and any extra fans or cooling you decide to add.

If you overclock any of those components, it means you need to have an even more efficient PSU (power supply). While these minimum graphics card watt requirements are good for 90% cases, you should still remember it all comes down to the rest of your system as well.

Every graphics card has an average and a peak power consumption part. Your power supply is constantly powering your entire computer, and while your GPU is mostly hovering at lower/average values, when you run heavy games it will quickly jump up.

Even if it just happens for a few seconds or minutes, if your PSU is not strong enough to handle those peaks, your compute will (in best case scenario) turn off. You should also know that a PSU is most efficient when you’re not near its maximum.

AMD also recommends your PSU to be at least 650W for the 6700 XT.

Is 500/550W Enough for 6700 XT?

No, because it’s not double the peak consumption. It could run the GPU alone, but there’s more components in every PC. Even if you have a high quality Platinum rated supply, your computer will simply shut down as soon as you run something mildly heavier (games, video editing)

Is 650W Enough for 6700 XT?

Yes, it’s also the minimum AMD recommends, and is well above the double peak consumption.

You should also remember that the closer your total computer power consumption is to the max wattage of your PSU, the less efficient it will be. So, if your computer requires 680W to run everything and you’re using a 700W PSU, then you’re really at the edge and not getting the best performance out of it.

While there’s usually no reason to go with extremely higher PSU’s, it’s also wise to not go with something that is just barely keeping your system alive.

Efficiency of a power supply between 20% and 100% of its total available Watt power

The image above is an example of how efficient a power supply is at different rates. At ~45% of its load, it’s noticeably more efficient than when it’s closer to 100%. The differences are not so huge that it would be worth spending twice as much money on a more powerful PSU, but it’s still good to remember to not push it to its limits. While this graph is not the same for all PSU’s out there, you can assume the curve looks pretty similar.

What Power Supply We Recommend?

The PSU we recommend is Corsair RMX 650W+ Gold Rated. There’s even a few higher watt options from Corsair for not a whole lot more, so if you want to be more future-proof, check out the 750 and 850W options too.

Always keep in mind that any CPU/GPU overclocking, adding extra fans or cooling, will require even more from your PSU.

If you’re just building out your computer, or aren’t on a tight budget, we seriously recommend you to go for a quality 650W+ PSU. This is more than enough to handle the peak, even if you overclock your GPU and CPU. Never settle on an unknown/low quality PSU because you’re basically betting your entire computer against a few dollars saved.

Can the 6700 XT Run Games at 4K?

Red Dead Redemption 2 at 4K Resolution

It’s not the ideal choice for 4K gaming, especially if you want a consistent 60fps rate. Most games at medum/high settings will hover between 40-60fps, so for purely 4K resolution we would not recommend this card.

For 4K with higher fps, check out the 6800 XT which would be our recommended starting point. If you want an Nvidia alternative, check out the slightly more expensive RTX 3070.

Can the 6700 XT Run Games at 1440p at 144Hz?

Yes, this is where the card shines the most (as well as 1080p gaming). When playing in ultra or high, almost all latest games will run over 60fps. It also helps that the 6700 XT has 12GB of ram, making it a bit more future-proof for intensive 1440p games.

Before going through the process of figuring if another charger will fit, you need understand that this can often result in either immediately damaging the battery/laptop, or slowly destroying its potential. The more expensive/powerful your laptop, the less recommended it is to try this.

In this post, we’re not going to go through USB-C charging, which is getting more and more popular as described in this HP’s charging guide, as that’s a lot more universal.

Are All Laptop Chargers Universal?

There are probably over 10 different cable sizes, voltages, wattage etc. Even 2 laptops from the same company could have completely different requirements. Unlike phones, the laptop world is a lot more complicated for all brands.

Most laptop chargers are not universal, however, you could be lucky in some cases. Just remember that even if you do manage to find a non-OEM or different company charger, certain laptops can detect it’s not the original one and won’t work regardless.

Laptops in similar price ranges usually contain similar components, so you might have more luck if the other laptop is very similar to yours in terms of specifications, especially because the charging tip might be identical (as well as voltage).

How To Tell If You Can Use Another Laptop’s Charger?

There are 3 things you need to pay attention to in order to make sure a different charger than your original is compatible.

1. Port Fits

Quite easy to figure out, but make sure you never force the charger tip into a laptop that doesn’t have the same opening.

2. Voltage & Polarity

You either want the voltage to be identical to your own charger, or just a little bit lower.

The polarity should also be the same! If it’s positive, then you’ll need to make sure the new charger is positive too. Look for the icon we highlighted at the top of the charger above and make sure it’s the same.

Let’s say your laptop’s charger has 19.5V, and the one you are trying to charge with now also as 19.5V. That’s great, and won’t result in any issues. While not totally safe, even something slightly lower, let’s say 18.5 or 19V could be just as fine.

Not enough voltage will usually result in your laptop not turning on, or just barely making it but working slowly.

Just make sure to never go with something higher as that’s a guaranteed way of screwing things up badly (damaging the charger/battery/device, fire etc.)

3. Amperage

The amperage (current) should be either identical or higher, and luckily you are not going to damage the laptop or charger if it’s higher.

Amperage basically regulates how much power flows to your laptop. Not having enough will be useless as the laptop won’t turn on, but having too much is perfectly fine.

If you see 3.33 A on your charger, then the new one has to have 3.33 or higher.

4. Wattage

Every component in your laptop requires a different amount of power, and the power supply needs to make sure they all work properly, whether they are in idle mode or doing heavy work.

Wattage should be identical or higher.

To get the number of watts, simply multiply the Voltage x Amperage. So, if you look at the charger picture above, that would be 19.5 (V) x 3.3 (A) = 64.3W.

If you’re buying a new charger and the voltage is fine, then make sure to multiply both numbers and get a wattage that’s higher than 64.3. Even if it’s 70 or 80W, it will be fine because the laptop will only use as much as it needs at the moment. If you buy a charger with less than 64 watts then that will not be enough to power all the components properly.

If you don’t see any information displayed on the charger, it’s not worth the risk.

If you’re looking to upgrade your old graphics card to one of the new RTX 3 series GPU’s, the 3060 is easily one of the best choices for your money.

How Many Watts for RTX 3060?

  • The RTX 3060 at its peak consumes around ~170 Watts. That’s why your power supply needs to have a minimum of 340 watts, which is more than double the peak.

How Many Watts for RTX 3060 Ti?

  • The RTX 3060 Ti at its peak consumes around ~200 Watts. That’s why your power supply needs to have a minimum of 400 watts, which is more than double the peak.

Why these double numbers?

Because every graphics card has an average and a peak power consumption part. While most will stay in the lower, idle part for the majority of their life, you want your power supply to be able to handle any peaks that happen during heavy gaming, even if just for a single second.

This 340/400 Watt information is not accounting for the fact that your PSU has to power everything in your computer though, which pushes the overall required number higher. On average, you could say around extra 200 Watts higher (for the CPU, fans etc.).

On top of that, if you ever plan on overclocking any of your components, this would need to be even higher. While Nvidia recommends your PSU to be at least 550W for the RTX 3060, their results were tested using a high-end i9 processor. Chances are, your overall required number is lower.

Is 400W Enough for RTX 3060 & 3060 Ti?

Unfortunately, while 400W would be enough to handle the GPU alone, it’s not nearly enough to run a good gaming computer, especially if your power supply is from an unknown brand, or came built-in with the case.

Because the RTX 3060 Ti needs even slightly more power, 400W is far from enough.

Is 500W Enough for RTX 3060 & 3060 Ti?

500W is where you can consider that the overall quality of PSU’s gets better, as many companies simply don’t want to put their best into sub-500W systems.

If you have a really quality power supply (Gold rated or even higher), then you could get away with 500W. It’s going to be close to the total usage of your computer though, which means your PSU won’t be as efficient as it could be.

It’s on the low end for the 3060 Ti, so if you’re looking for maximum efficiency and can find a 650W supply that doesn’t cost you more than 600W, we seriously recommend it.

What Power Supply We Recommend?

The PSU we recommend is Corsair RMX 650W+ Gold Rated. There’s even a few higher watt options from them for not a whole lot more if you want to be more future-proof.

It’s always good to remember that your power supply should be double the amount your computer uses while gaming.

If you’re just building out your computer, or aren’t on a tight budget, we seriously recommend you to go for a quality 650W+ PSU for both 3060 and 3060 Ti. This is more than enough to handle the peak, even if you overclock your GPU and CPU. Never settle on an unknown/low quality PSU because you’re basically betting your entire computer against a few dollars saved.

Can the RTX 3060 Run Games at 4K?

At ultra high or even high settings, most games will not run smooth at 4K resolution. It’s going to be quite hard to reach anything above 40, let alone 60fps, but changing to medium settings will get you super close in many games.

To keep it simple, for great 4K gaming, nor 3060 or 3060 Ti would be our recommended choices. You’ll have to look at the RTX 3070, but even that card is not the ideal card for that.

Can the RTX 3060 & 3060 Ti Run Games at 1440p at 144Hz?

Yes! Both RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti are excellent for 1440p gaming at 60fps and even higher.

Their performance is nearly identical to the more expensive, older, 2080 and 2080 Ti, which are monster cards.

The Nvidia RTX 3090 is one of the best cards available and you will probably need to upgrade your PSU.

  • The Nvidia RTX 3090 has a TDP of 350W, so we recommend a power supply with at least 750W to use the card at its maximum performance. 

Does that mean you simply need a 700W PSU? No, absolutely not.

Personally, I recommend you to go with an 850W PSU, especially if you plan on overclocking all of your other components. You want to be safe even when the card peaks and goes out of its average consumption.

The image below is from Nvidia’s official website, stating that the recommended supply is 750W. Again, because the difference compared to a 850W is not that big, you will be much more related with the bigger one. 


Official Nvidia Requirements for the RTX 3090

Is 750W Enough for RTX 3090?

Yes, it’s also the minimum Nvidia recommends and it’s slightly above the double peak consumption (350W x 2).

The closer your total computer power consumption is to the max wattage of your PSU, the less efficient it will be. So, if your computer requires 740W to run everything and you’re using a 750W PSU, you’re really at the limit and not getting the best performance out of it.

Which PSU for RTX 3090?

If you’re looking for the best bang for the buck, the Corsair RM850X with 850W and gold rating is my favorite choice. If your budget allows you, and you want to be future-proof for 10 years, get the 1000W option.

Always keep in mind that any CPU/GPU overclocking, adding extra fans or cooling, will require even more from your PSU.

Never settle on an unknown/low quality PSU because you’re basically betting your entire computer against a few dollars saved.

Yes, the 3090 is an amazing choice for 4K gaming at 100fps+, but there’s a better deal out there if you’re looking to get the most for your money. It’s the RTX 3080, which costs ~$600+ less and performs only around 15% worse.

The better question would be, can the RTX 3090 run games at 8K? Yes it can, but the large majority will hover between 40-60fps and struggle a bit. Plus, most games simply don’t have 8K textures yet so it’s still a bit too early for fair comparisons.

Can the RTX 3090 Run Games at 1440p at 144Hz?

Yes, but even the much cheaper 3070 is great for this. Unless you’re going to use more than 1 x 4K/1440p monitor, the 3090 is an overkill for this scenario.

The 3090 with its monster GDDRX 24GB RAM (compared to 10GB on 3080) and everything else just a little bit better, is much more suitable for heavy professional work, or even 8K gaming. If you’re looking for anything below that, then this card is most likely not worth it.

The Nvidia RTX 3080 is an amazing GPU, but there’s a high chance that your current power supply won’t be enough to properly run your entire computer with it.

How Many Watts for RTX 3080?

The RTX 3080 at its peak consumes around ~340 Watts. That’s why your power supply needs to have a minimum of 700 Watts, which is more than double the peak.

Why 700W?

Because every graphics card has an average and a peak power consumption part. Your power supply has to be able to power your entire computer when your GPU, even if just for a second, goes up to extreme peak power consumptions when playing heavy games.

You also need to account for the fact that your power supply is responsible for your entire computer, so these minimum numbers can easily go up if you plan on overclocking your GPU or CPU. Nvidia recommends your PSU to be at least 750W for the RTX 3080, although their results were tested using a high-end i9 processor.

Is 600/650W Enough for RTX 3080?

While we wouldn’t recommend it, if you have a high quality power supply then technically speaking you should be able to run it. However, there’s no point in risking your entire computer, especially a graphic card this expensive, to be constantly worried if you’re going to run into issues when gaming.

Is 750W Enough for RTX 3080?

Yes, it’s also the minimum Nvidia recommends, and is slightly above the double peak consumption (360 x 2).

Just make sure you have a PSU from a quality company and you should be absolutely fine. While it’s always nice to be above the minimum, if you recently bought a good PSU then you don’t really have to upgrade and will be fine with 750W.

The closer your total computer power consumption is to the max wattage of your PSU, the less efficient it will be. So, if your computer requires 700W to run everything and you’re using a 750W PSU, then you’re really at the edge and not getting the best performance out of it.

What Power Supply We Recommend?

It’s always good to remember that your power supply should be double the amount your computer uses while gaming. Then you need to account for the CPU, overclocking, any extra fans or cooling you might add.

If you’re just building out your computer, or aren’t on a tight budget, we seriously recommend you to go for a quality 750W+ PSU with a gold rating. Never settle on an unknown/low quality PSU because you’re basically betting your entire computer against a few dollars saved. If you’re looking for a high quality, affordable PSU, we recommend the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 with 850W and gold rating.

Can the RTX 3080 Run Games at 4K?

Absolutely, compared to the 3070, the 3080 is where 4K gaming really starts to get good for almost all games, at high/ultra high settings.

Almost all games will easily run above 60fps at 4K, so if you’re also looking to upgrade your monitor from 1080p or 1440p, this would be a great time to take the most out of your new GPU.

Can the RTX 3080 Run Games at 1440p at 144Hz?

Yes, even the 3070 is great for this, so the 3080 can easily handle most games at high settings and reach up to 144hz.

If you are certain that you won’t ever go higher than 1440p, and want to save as much money as possible, then there’s not much sense in going for the 3080 (for that reason alone). While the GPU is great, it’s a better deal when you plan on using it for 2+ high resolution monitors, or 4K high fps gaming.

How Many Monitors Can Nvidia RTX 3080 Support?

The card can support up to 4 monitors.

There is 1 x HDMI 2.1 port and 3 DisplayPort 1.4a ports. However, make sure to check your card specifically before buying, as some companies might have 2 x HDMI and 2 x DisplayPort rather.

Is 500W Enough for RTX 3070?

No, a 500W power supply is not recommended for the RTX 3070. Even the minimum 550W recommendation assumes the rest of your components are not power hungry, which is rarely the case if you are building a gaming system.

Don’t save your money here because you’ll run into issues.

Is 650W Enough for RTX 3070?

Yes, the Nvidia RTX 3070 will work perfectly good with a 650W power supply.

However, the PSU powers all of your components, so this depends on your specific computer setup and if you have done any overclocking.

What Power Supply for the Nvidia RTX 3070?

I’ve been using Corsair PSU’s for a long time and there’s nothing better for the price. I recommend the Corsair RM650X which is a 650W, gold rated, fully modular power supply.

The biggest issues will be finding one that it’s in stock! If your budget allows you then get the 750W which is almost always available.

If you’re looking at some other brands, just make sure to stick with the most popular ones. Also, don’t go below 700W especially if you know you will upgrade to an even better card a couple of years from now. Price differences between power supplies are not that drastic.

Can the RTX 3070 Run Games at 4K?

You can run many games at 4K around 60fps or above, but you will have to change your game settings to medium/high for quite a few, and rarely ultra high.

Something like Forza 4, or games that don’t require too much work, will easily reach 100fps and higher, but a more complex (think Metro, Red Dead etc.) game will put a test on your 3070.

4K is still quite a difficult thing for most graphics cards, and this one is no exception. You’ll have to look at the 3080 as a minimum for constant high fps 4K gaming.

Can the RTX 3070 Run Games at 1440p at 144Hz?

This is where the Nvidia RTX 3070 shines the most.

As a matter of fact, the 3070 is hands down one of the best bang for the back GPU’s out there, and will be for quite a long time. If your goal is to game at 144Hz in 1440p, it will be ideal, and we don’t recommend going for anything more expensive (3080 or higher) if this is your ultimate goal. The ~10-20% difference is not worth a couple of hundred dollars more.

The card can support up to 4 monitors.

There is 1 x HDMI 2.1 port and 3 DisplayPort 1.4a ports. However, make sure to check your card specifically before buying, as some companies might have 2 x HDMI and 2 x DisplayPort rather.

The maximum resolution it can display is 7680×4320, which means you can run 2 x 4K monitors, but it’s not nearly enough for a 3 x 1440p monitor setup. If you want to run 4 monitors at the same time, you will have to stick to 1080p as the card is not strong enough.
